Our goal…
We want to help recreational climbers prevent & recover more fully from injury. In our small town community, injured climbers often have to travel a fair distance for climbing-specific care. This can be time-consuming and inconvenient. We know we have something to offer folks right here in our community for common climbing conditions. Our aim is to incorporate and build climbing-specific exercise progressions that address the unique needs and demands of the sport and which are often lacking in standard rehab approaches.
Why we care about climbing…
Ya, we realize that pelvic health and climbing is a strange combo of services. The thing that joins them, however, is that both have limited access to knowledgeable care in our small-town/rural community. We want to do our part to change that.
Jaclyn, the founder of The Physio Nook, discovered climbing later in life. It quickly became a crucial outlet that greatly benefited her postpartum physical & mental health. We know many of you feel the same in your respective climbing journeys and we want to see those quality of life benefits optimized for you and not held back by injury.
We are excited to be able to offer and build on local services that more fully support the unique needs of climbers in our community.
Not sure if we’re the right fit?
Did you know we offer a complimentary 15 minute “Discovery Call”? The purpose of this call is for you to meet with your prospective physiotherapist (via online video call or phone), ask questions, and get a sense of whether or not we will be a good fit for your care and goals. Please note that diagnosis or treatment advice will NOT be provided as part of this call.
